As a kid, I ticked every box on the Math Dork Checklist. Shy. Puny. Hopeless at sports. Until I discovered the one sport I was made for. Dance! When I realized that dance figures are just geometric patterns in 3D, my algorithmic heart began to flutter. I’ve been dancing ever since.

My favourite dances these days are fox trot, salsa, cha cha & Brazilian zouk. At the high school where I teach, I’ve also been known to bust a move at prom.
